On February 5th Recently Sherwani King attended the Leicester Wedding Exhibition for the first time. It was a small but focused exhibition catering to Asian couples who are in the middle of planning their wedding and need a place to meet specialists from all over the country under one roof.
We met many fellow suppliers and saw some firsts at this exhibition like Raag Musical Events a qawwali group for couples looking for a different type of entertainment than what is usually found at weddings. Sherwani King is proud to say that we were the only menswear specialists. Guys you were not forgotten about somebody is looking out for you!
The highlight of the exhibition for us was the photoshoot (choreographed by Parin Suchak) that had been going on throughout the day. The photographer was Punit Madhwani of Adimad Productions and by the previews, he has created some beautiful work capturing our sherwanis in the perfect light. We look forward to sharing the photos with you. Along with our models wearing Sherwani King, we had female models wearing lenghas from RS Collection, jewellery from Auroras Collection with hair and makeup by Varsha Modha of Krem Beauty and a special shoutout to Infinity Roadshow for sending one of their guys to model for us and save the day. To create the perfect atmosphere for the shoot there was a dedicated room decorated by Suchak Events and live music courtesy of Raag Musical Events.
Throughout the day Jonathan, Karishma and Moon met soon to be brides and grooms introducing them to the idea of sherwani hire, offering advice and explaining the pros of using Sherwani King for your wedding. We were very well received at the show with guests being able to view our 2017 collection. They were able to see the pieces up close and personal and see just how much detail goes into making just one piece
