Embroidery is the soul of a sherwani. The intricate zardozi, the delicate resham threadwork, the glimmer of sequins along a collar — these details transform a garment from beautiful to extraordinary. At Sherwani King, every embroidered sherwani we create is crafted to order, designed specifically for the groom who will wear it.
Our Embroidery Heritage
Founded in 1975, Sherwani King has spent five decades perfecting the art of groom menswear. Our embroidery options span traditional South Asian motifs to contemporary minimal designs — all executed by skilled artisans working to the exact specification you choose during your consultation.
Choosing Your Embroidery Style
During your bespoke consultation, our stylists will guide you through embroidery placement, thread colour, density, and pattern. Common choices include:
- Full-body zardozi — rich gold or silver metallic threadwork across the full sherwani
- Collar and cuff detailing — subtle embroidery at the key focal points
- Tonal threadwork — embroidery in the same colour as the base fabric for an understated, modern look
- Bespoke motifs — custom patterns designed in collaboration with our team
Made to Your Measurements
Because every embroidered sherwani is made from scratch, the embroidery is placed precisely for your body shape and proportions. We do not cut down or alter a pre-embroidered garment — the embroidery is applied to your fabric, after cutting, ensuring perfect alignment at every seam.
