Our founder Bobby Shah established Sherwani King with a simple principle: every groom deserves a sherwani made specifically for him. That principle has guided every decision we’ve made over five decades, including the deliberate choice to offer only bespoke and made-to-measure sherwanis — never hire.
Why Bespoke Has Always Been Our Model
As demand for quality groom menswear grew, we invested in our bespoke offering rather than scaling a hire operation. Hire models compromise on quality, fit, and personalisation — three things we are not willing to sacrifice. Today, every Sherwani King garment is crafted from scratch to the individual groom’s measurements and design preferences.
